How we are different

Experience our holistic approach, transparent pricing, and commitment to protecting your assets and loved ones.

  1. Comprehensive Guidance: At Family Wealth Law, we believe in keeping you informed and empowered throughout the entire estate planning process. We ensure that your plan is not just a collection of documents but a well-rounded, complete strategy that covers all aspects of your unique circumstances to give you and your loved ones the best protection. And, we serve as your trusted guide not only in Estate Planning but in other types of law by introducing you to our carefully vetted network of lawyers for any legal need you may encounter.

  2. Proper Asset Ownership: We understand the importance of proper asset ownership to maximize the effectiveness of your estate plan. Our team diligently reviews and advises on how your assets should be titled and owned to align with your overall goals, ensuring that your plan works seamlessly when it matters most.

  3. Planning for Your Minor Children's Well-being: One of our priorities is helping you create a plan that safeguards the well-being of your children. We take the time to discuss and address important considerations such as guardianship nominations, education, special needs, and their financial security. We guide you to have peace of mind knowing that your children will be cared for according to your wishes whether it is for a short time for a longer period.

  4. Clear Instructions for Loved Ones: Communication is key. We ensure that everyone named in your estate plan understands their roles and responsibilities in the event of your incapacity or passing. Providing clear instructions and guidance, we aim to minimize confusion and enable a smooth transition for your loved ones during challenging times.

  5. Regular Plan Reviews: Estate planning is not a one-time event. We strongly advise our clients to review their estate plans at least every three years. Life circumstances change, laws evolve, and your priorities may shift. Once you have another child, marry or divorce, or purchase a Real Estate property, you need to amend your estate plan and make sure it is properly funded.  Our commitment to you extends beyond the initial planning stage, as we help you adapt your plan to ensure it remains up to date and aligned with your current needs.

  6. Flat Fee Pricing: We believe in transparency and providing you with peace of mind when it comes to the cost of our services. You should not be worried about calling us to inform us of a change because you dread receiving the hourly bill.  All our fees are fixed and agreed upon in advance, eliminating any surprises or hidden charges. You can trust that you are receiving fair and predictable pricing.  Depending on the level of protection and planning you require, our fees range from approximately $2,000 for those who are less concerned about keeping their family out of court, up to $10,000 for an extensive plan that offers significant asset protection after death and safeguards against potential loss to the State or the court process.

During your legal consultation with us, we will discuss the three planning levels available, allowing you to select the fee that aligns with your budget and the planning options most important to you and your family.
